Do you accept wholesale orders?

  • We are open to wholesale orders if it's the right fit for both Sound Ceramics and the inquiring company
  • Please contact us at info@soundceramics.com to discuss a potential wholesale order 

Do you accept custom orders?

  • We are open to semi-custom orders if it's the right fit for both Sound Ceramics and inquiring customer. We are not accepting fully bespoke orders at this time
  • If we accept a semi-custom order, customers are able to pick the style, number of pieces, and glazing from our catalog of work
  • Shipping and delivery times and costs will depend on size of order
  • Please contact us at orders@soundceramics.com to discuss a potential semi-custom order

I want a matching set of ceramic pieces (mugs, bowls, cups, etc.). How can I order a matching set?

  • If you are interested in a matching set, please consider ordering from from Crate & Barrel, West Elm, Pottery Barn, or the like. Every piece made at Sound Ceramics is handmade, individual, and unique. Even if we measure each piece of clay, apply the glazes with the same techniques, each piece varies in character based on, how it was thrown/molded, how it dries, where it was fired in the kiln, and more. Our goal is to make pieces that compliment one another and are representative of us as artists and our environment

I don't see anything in the shop and want to buy something. How can I purchase your products?

  • If there's nothing listed in the shop, our shop is sold out and we currently don't have anything available to purchase or ship. To stay up-to-date on the latest releases, sign-up for our newsletter at the bottom of our website

What's the best way to ensure I get the piece I want during a release?

  • Make your account ahead of time. Be sure you have your address and payment info saved so you can do a speedy checkout
  • Be on the site when the release goes live
  • Check out one item at a time. Adding an item to your cart does not save it or guarantee it

Can I reserve a piece I've seen on social media?

  • No, we do not accept any orders via social media

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges. Pottery is fragile and is tricky to ship. We do our best to get pieces to you safe and sound but we cannot guarantee that pieces are shipped back as carefully wrapped to prevent breakage

Can I cancel my order?

  • We'll accept a cancellation within 24 hours of purchasing. Just email us at info@soundceramics.com with all of your order information

My piece arrived damaged and/or broken. Can I get a refund?

  • Unfortunately, this is a risk with shipping pottery. Luckily, shipping damage is covered by insurance which is included in your priority mail shipping cost. You can file a claim with your specific carrier:

Shipping

  • All North American orders will be shipped with USPS
  • International orders will be shipped with DHL or UPS
  • Standard orders will be processed and shipped within 5 business days
  • Sound Ceramics is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.)
  • If you purchase multiple items across separate orders, we will do our best to combine orders and refund shipping overages. We may decide to ship in more than one box to ensure they are packaged properly and prevent damages
